My permaculture and sustainability work throughout the years

2022 until today - Teaching a nature and environment program through the Karev Educational Program in kindergartens in Binyamina and a School in Hadera, including learning about reusing and recycling waste, composting and creating a vegetable garden using some of the permaculture principles.
2023 until 2025 - Completed my Permaculture Diploma certification with Talia Schneider and Galit Ruda
2022 - Completed online digital permaculture course by Talia Schneider
2016 until 2022 - Built and managed the Roof Farm TLV ecological community in Florentin neighborhood in Tel Aviv together with many roommates, volunteers and guests. You can also learn more about how it all started or read more about the Roof Farm Vision
2018 until 2019 - Worked with City Tree urban ecology school on their old website and learned a lot in the process
2016 - Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC) course taught by Barak Ben Hanan in Maoz Aviv Tel Aviv. You can view my final project presentation here
2016 - Harvested my first balcony grown sweet delicious pineapple! It was grown in a planter on a tiny 2 sqm balcony with very little direct daily sunlight...
2012 - Started my initial path down urban agriculture lane, switching to healthier and cleaner modes of living, growing fruits and vegetables on my balconies and on the rooftop of my building and making my first compost in buckets.
